Her position on LGBT rights were targeted when she signed the Commonwealth Charter aimed at ending discrimination based on gender and sexual orientation.
Experts believe that her motivation to support this claim has been to changes in the rules of accession that will allow a first-born daughter from William and Kate to take the throne.

Conservative Prime Minister, David Cameron, support LGBT rights and equality along with gay marriage. During a recent speech about gay rights, Cameron says, "I support gay marriage BECAUSE I am a Conservative." His government recently has been active in supporting the cause.
